Wearing the SELECTRIC frame, Major League Soccer player Robbie Rogers is the new subject of l.a.Eyeworks’ portrait campaign, photographed by Greg Gorman. Rogers is a defender with the LA Galaxy, with whom he won the MLS Cup in 2014. A frequent choice of best-dressed lists, Rogers also launched Hampton & Baker, a bespoke line of jackets, with stylist Warren Alfie Baker in 2016. Coming Out to Play, a 2014 memoir co-authored with Eric Marcus, details Rogers’ journey from a fearful youth to one of the first openly gay athletes to compete in U.S. professional sport.
