Mistress of the Dark

l.a.Eyeworks is pleased to welcome alt-culture icon Elvira to the Uncensored Visions campaign for Spring/Summer 2015. Photographed in all of her camp-punk-gothic glamour by photographer Josef Jasso, Elvira wears the JASPER frame. 

"Elvira, Mistress of the Dark," is a well-known media persona created by American actress Cassandra Peterson, who first came to prominence on local television in Los Angeles as the host of "Movie Macabre," a weekly horror movie showcase. With characteristic wit and a love of the naughty double entendre, Elvira's ongoing run of appearances on television, in movies, on radio, in comic books, and even on a pinball machine, have made her a globally loved one-woman phenomenon.
