The Andy Warhol Museum www.warhol.org is a wonderful repository of all things Warholian. You may notice that the whole website is covered with l.a.Eyeworks' Andy Warhol ad, shot by Greg Gorman! Andy came to Los Angeles in 1984 and had his "Great Face" portrait taken in the LAX design. He even mentions the shoot in his famous published diary. Andy's "Interview" magazine was one of the first publications to run the l.a.Eyeworks campaign. The iconic photo and the l.a.Eyeworks ad itself has been in museum shows and reproduced in books on Warhol. We are still honored and lucky to have this photo 18 years and 15 minutes later.
