We are very proud to announce that on May 31st, l.a.Eyeworks Gai Gherardi and Barbara McReynolds were feted by the design world. "OUT" Magazine and Vox Vodka teamed up a year ago to create the Vox/OUT Voices of Style and Design Awards, celebrating the work of highly accomplished designers, as chosen by the editors of "OUT" magazine. Gai and Barbara are the first recipients in Los Angeles with the festivities taking place at the Pacific Design Center. The next recipient is Todd Oldham with the award to be presented in New York. Over 400 revelers joined in the festivities, including l.a.Eyeworks "great faces" Jenny Shimizu, Ann Magnuson and Greg Knudson, flanked of course, by photographer Greg Gorman. We drank delicious cocktails (responsibly), snacked on delicious hors d'oeuvres (irresponsibly), and cried when Gai and Barbara graciously accepted their award. Huzzah!
