Pasadena, Calif: l.a.Eyeworks frames Tread and Topkapi are showcased in the new Pasadena Museum of California Art (PMCA) California Design Biennial. This exhibition is a juried cross section of the most innovative and important design produced in the state over the past two years.

The California Design Biennial was conceived as a showcase for excellence and ingenuity in the field of design and to raise awareness of California’s growing role as an international design center. A jury of 10 distinguished design professionals including designers, academics, and critics chose this year’s selections. The show runs June 18th through August 28th, 2005.

The Pasadena Museum of California Art opened to the public on June 1, 2002 and is the only museum in the region devoted exclusively to California art and design.

The exciting Tread frame was recently nominated for the optical industry’s Silmo d’Or awards. Topkapi is a ground-breaking Titanium design using l.a.Eyeworks trademark sculpted overlay technique.
