September 2000 Wallpaper suggests plane sexy l.a.Eyeworks frames for the can-do look.
Here, l.a.Eyeworks Pillow, in very modern Titanium.
Sculpted titanium makes a strong statement for l.a.Eyeworks. Designers
Gai Gherardi and Barbara McReynolds exploit the lightness of the material
by inverting the usual titanium concept. The ultra light material is
usually pared to minimum; l.a.Eyeworks highlights and bubbles the surface
for a futuristic, empathic statement. l.a.Eyeworks' titanium collection
is molded, tactile, curvaceous and sculptural. The organic shapes are
akin to modern metal sculpture. The color palette for the Titanium is
new subtle matting, a lush, soft finish we call "velvets".
