ST. CHARLES VISION
Since 1988, l.a.Eyeworks has commissioned world-renowned artists, jewelers, and designers to augment, embellish, and transform our iconic frame designs as one-of-a-kind artworks, known collectively as the Face It! Collection. These unique and often outrageous creations have dazzled spectators in exhibitions worldwide.
To celebrate the 40th anniversary of legendary eye care specialists St. Charles Vision in New Orleans, an exhibition of 29 works from the Face It! collection will be exhibited at the Lighthouse Gallery this weekend. In addition to works by jeweler Vicky Ambery-Smith, artist Joyce Scott, costume designer David Spada, and artist James Reva, the presentation will feature multiple works by New Orleans’ luminary jeweler Thomas Mann, including two new works commissioned for the occasion.
